Feed the mother, feed the baby

I'm trying to find a place to live.  It's a complicated business.  Not much money and pretty much, it's got to be the last place I live.  So I'm tired and tired.  Not reading blogs much or commenting.

But I do want to share this wonderful thing that I became aware of recently.

https://sharethemeal.org/en/values.html  This is the work of the World Food Program (WFP)

They provide nutritious meals for pregnant and nursing mothers in Syria.
Maybe we can't take a refugee into our home, but we can feed a baby.

Love, Liv

  1. What a beautiful service -- thank you for telling us about it. I will be thinking about you, wishing you luck on your home search. May you find exactly what you need, at a price you can afford. And may it not be a tiring search!

  2. Awesome -- checking this out now. Good luck on finding something...It is a stressful thing. One of the major stressors! And everything is so damn expensive. Preaching to the choir :) Glad you are well.

  6. I really want to thank you for your comment on my post about the battered woman. It means a lot because I believe that unless we raise our voices together domestic violence will carry on being something that happens to "other people". Victims. Women. To me, these "other people" have names, identities, lives, features. Although I did not name the woman in my post I know many others in the same situation. We need to change the culture, educate our young people, legislate and punish the perpetrators.

Thanks. I hope your situation has improved.

    Greetings from London.
